In NLLSA on June 29, 2011 by Barbara

Below is a message from Frankie Guzman, NLLSA’s Pacific Regional Director, regarding the upcoming Encuentro:

Latino/a Law Students,

As Pacific Regional Director of the National Latina/o Law Student Association (NLLSA), I cordially invite you and your student-members to attend the 2011 Pacific Regional Encuentro on Tuesday, July 12, in San Francisco, California!

The Purpose of the Encuentro is to provide an opportunity for Latina/o law students currently in NLLSA’s Pacific Region to meet each other and become more familiar with the organization.  We will provide a brief overview of our membership, current projects/initiatives, and the upcoming national conference being held in New Orleans this October. Aside from being actively involved in the creation of this national organization, we hope to ensure that California Latina/o students continue to play a leading role in shaping our national agenda and discourse. Please come out to meet other NLLSA chapter members, learn about the organization, and share your voice. Represent.
