THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 –
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2011
NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA
NLLSA hopes that you had a great summer and are preparing for the beginning of a successful academic year. Congratulations to all law students who recently took the Bar Exam. Our 15th Annual Conference is just a few weeks away and we encourage you to visit the Conference website today to learn about NLLSA’s signature event.
We are very excited to announce that Mayor Angel Taveras from the City of Providence will be our Keynote Speaker for our upcoming Conference. Angel Taveras became the first Hispanic mayor of Rhode Island’s capital city in 2011. He is the son of immigrants from the Dominican Republic and had a very modest upbringing. Because of his hard work and dedication, he attended Harvard College and Georgetown University Law Center. He was a lawyer in private practice that specialized in election law before being elected mayor. We are extremely honored to have him deliver the keynote address at our fifteenth annual Conference.
If you have any questions about our upcoming conference, please do not hesitate to contact me at email@example.com.
